Armband Review & Giveaway

A little while back I was contacted by Hamish who works for a media agency, and he wanted to know if I would be interested in reviewing a product for one of his clients ..... uuuuuummmmm YEAH !!!!!

So what he sent over was this:
A Cygnett Action Sports Armband
Fits iPhone, iPod Touch, iPod classic

Now, I am no armband virgin as I can regularly be found looking for one that's "just right", so far I have bought and tried out just does't balddy well fit/or work, too tight, too big, can't access my touch pad  .... the list goes on!!!

My splub on the armband:
First off, it fitted what it said it would fit, my arm & my iPhone ;-).  I have an iPhone4 and it slipped in comfortably without the possibility of it falling out even if I chose to do cartwheels for 26.2 miles (which I won't be doing just in case you were wondering).
The cover is soft and the plastic screen is thin enough to allow easy touch screen touching.
Extra features: it has a little velcro flap to roll & secure or tuck away excess headphone cable.  I did not use this on the run but proves very handy to store my headphones = easy to find everything when I want to get out the door!!
Fit: it was comfortable on the arm.  My arm measures in at 31cm and the strap went round comfortably, bigger arms it would fit but I'm dubious about it fitting arms a few centimetres smaller than mine.  The velcro felt strong and secure.
Out on the Run:
First I tried this out whilst on the treadmill, annoyed me because I don't "wear" my iPod on the treaddie.  But the armband wrapped nicely around the sensors and didn't annoy me further.
Next I tried it out on the road.  First it kept shuffling my songs until I realised I had it too loose (I had a long sleeve & a fleece on!!!), tightened it a bit and it was all good to go hardly noticed it from there on.  The plastic cover held true & it was nice and easy to use on the move as well.
